Description

dotforge is accepting applications from startups who are developing products, apps and services that take full advantage of the cloud ecosystem to build scalable businesses with a global market.

Successful applicants from this call will become the inaugural cohort for the dotforge lean startup accelerator, an intense 13-week founder-centric programme based in Sheffield UK.

Teams that participate could get up to £25,000 cash per founder (in seed capital and optional entrepreneur loan) and access to over £50,000 equity-free follow-on funding. That’s on top of nearly $300k worth of perks from the likes of Amazon Web Services, SendGrid and Rackspace, free office accommodation and exposure to world-class mentors, investors and specialists to help accelerate your business.

The programme is particularly interested in startups with strong B2B or big data focus, and will also appeal to businesses looking to leverage the region’s leading e-learning, e-health and public sector supply chains and networks.

The deadline for applications (submitted via f6s.com) is noon on 25 February 2012.
