The Vegas Tech Fund is part of the Downtown Project (downtownproject.com). We'd love some extra help with our rapidly growing startup ecosystem. Everything we do is fairly organic in nature so there are tons of opportunities to participate. You can jump in most anytime. A great place to start is at the vegastech.com site. One of our largest events is the weekly Tech Jelly. Every Thursday night hundreds of entrepreneurs come out to The Beat Coffeehouse downtown for a casual coworking experience. This is a great time to get out and meet the startup community all in one place.
Some other opportunities would be to participate in Shift Vegas, Green Jelly, First Friday, StrEats, or even Jam and Jelly. Just let me know if I can connect you with any of these. -Aim to increase the creative class of downtown Las Vegas by solving awesome problems with an amazing team.
-Are building teams that are excited about being an active member of the VegasTech Community. This includes mentoring and collaborating with other companies in the community, having community dinners and organizing and participating in tech events such as VegasJelly. We’ve also been known to have a drink or two together.
-Are insanely passionate about their company. We want to build a group of founders that create successful businesses that improve the brand of Vegas Tech.
We look forward to working with you to build the VegasTech community. Sure, it sounds long but there will be a lot of drinks along the way and you’ll meet some amazing people!
