What is the Sports Technology Symposium?

8-10 selected technology-based or technology-enabled startups will have the opportunity to present their company to senior management from a professional sports team, as strategic venture and angel investors in the Fall of 2018 at 1871, in Chicago.

Why apply?

Selected startups will create connections that may result in a piloting of their technology solution with a major professional sports team and/or receive funding from strategic venture and angel investors.

What is the selection process?

Phone Interviews: July 25 - August 3
Finalists Announced: August 13

Event Details:

The Sports Symposium will be held at 1871 (Chicago, IL) in the Fall of 2018. Selected startups must be able to present in person at 1871. Participants will need to cover their own travel expenses.

Confidentiality:

For confidentiality purposes, the name of the professional sports team will only be disclosed to finalists. NDAs will need to be signed between finalists and the professional sports team, but participating startups may exclude any proprietary information or materials that the startup feels are at risk of disclosure.
