2018 Good Food Pitch Slam

The Good Food Financing & Innovation Conference is the Midwest’s premiere event for thought leaders, innovators, stakeholders and entrepreneurs to learn, connect, cultivate ideas and drive innovation.

Entrepreneurs, get your game on! Apply to compete for cash prizes and in-kind services at the 2018 Good Food Pitch Slam! Selected entrepreneurs will be invited to pitch onstage at the June 19 F&IC Conference at the Morgan Manufacturing events space in Chicago.

Winners will receive cash prizes and in-kind services, and pitching companies are also provided a demo table at the Conference’s Financing Fair, which immediately follows the Pitch Slam. Businesses that have participated in past conferences have raised more than $50 million in capital!

The competition will be judged by a diverse panel of successful food industry thought leaders and experts. Preference will be given to businesses that have leadership teams or manufacturing facilities that are located in the Midwest region and / or serve the Chicago foodshed (i.e. IL and any state that borders IL). It is anticipated that the selected winners will highlight a CPG product that is related to healthy and sustainable food sources. All submitted entries require submission of a 90-second video pitch describing the concept or idea. Number of finalists will depend on the number and quality of entries received.
