Aabo d.o.o. (Company) is a limited liability company founded in April 2015. The Company is an Internet of Things (IoT) startup, founded and led by a competent engineering team with track record in IoT, product development, wearable medical devices, cyber-security, as well as business competences, such as corporate finance, investment banking, and marketing.


The Company is focussed on developing the Aabo Full-Service IoT Stack (Product).

The Product is a cloud-based platform which enables rapid prototyping and deployment of scalable IoT solutions. In essence, the Product is a stack of three layers of macro-functionalities that are offered as a service to the user: at the base of the stack, the Product offers an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution for data storage, in the middle is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) layer for application design and IoT device deployment and management, and on top of that sits the Software as a Service (SaaS) layer in which various finished IoT applications are deployed and distributed. We call that the Aabo Full-Service IoT Stack.

The IoT solutions designed and deployed using the Product can have a form of private projects (to be used both as testing prototypes, as well as production-grade private IoT solutions), or can be publicly offered to 3rd parties as commercial as SaaS solutions, using the Product as the distribution and billing platform.

Users build IoT solutions using a Visual Design Tool to arrange 'modules' as building blocks of their system. These modules can be UI elements, or generic data acquisition and processing applications that are run on remote devices, or on the cloud. Users can develop their own modules and offer them to other users, using the Product as the distribution and billing platform.

The Product handles the entire IoT device management process, by enabling users to quickly design device templates and then automate device provisioning and adoption. The Product is hardware agnostic, enabling the use of a wide range of hardware platforms as end-point devices. The Product is flexible in terms of data storage platforms, as it enables users to use Product's own secure cloud infrastructure, or easily implement and manage their preferred 3rd party cloud solution, or their private infrastructure.
