Amazing things Adero 's made
Aside from FairFare. Speaking as a non-engineer, I was able to write a very nuanced PhD level paper arguing how aesthetic familiarity in the Congo was the primary avenue that allowed Belgian explorers to colonize the Congo so successfully. Finding the historical text and images was very difficult but doable and I did it. I incorporated various philosophers theoretical concepts of language and violence. The paper received an A and it was my first PhD paper with a renowned professor in the field of African studies and international relations, and I was a 1st semester 2nd year Master's student at the time.

I was introduced to Adero by a close friend, and have been in communication with her for several weeks about her startup, PoaPost. I think the idea is very interesting, and Adero is a very passionate, willful CEO who is driven to succeed. I think she and her company would be a huge asset to any TechStars program.
It's been a pleasure to have the FairFare team as part of the Monarq Incubator Cohort. Adero and Darryl come to every meeting with high energy and are truly complimentary in their skill set. Darryl and Adero are both great in creating unique partnerships and will use every opportunity presented to them by the program to further deepen relationship from TechStars network. They truly believe that the network they build upon is the most valuable part of any program and work hard to turn "no's" into "yes's"
Adero & Darryl are a great team because they are passionate about FairFair and are incredibly tenacious. They are not discouraged by a "no"and while competing in the difficult rideshare space, they has already succeeded at bringing the two biggest players, Uber and Lyft as partners on the platform. We know they will shine during the 190 meetings with investors/mentors of Mentor Madness. FairFare is going to be the Kayak of ride shares and I am excited to support them on their journey.
The marketplace for riders is exploding and quickly becoming overwhelming and confusing. FairFare strives to make every rider a more informed rider by comparing multiple ride apps at once, and transparently sharing information about the options available in an unbiased way. That puts the rider in control and allows them to choose the ride that's best for them. It's a simple, clear proposition with a tangible benefit for users born out of the sharing economy.
