College applicants do not get the advice needed to adequately prepare for and apply to college: There are 480 U.S. public high school students to 1 public school guidance counselor. As a result, each student only receives 2 hours of total college guidance, leading to fewer students actually applying to college and 33% of those who do matriculate to college end up transferring leading to more debt and additional college costs.

Admit.me solves the problems undergraduate and graduate applicants have with identifying, connecting with, and gaining admission to best-fit global universities while providing schools with an efficient and cost-effective way to identify, connect, and convert global applicants. The solution is a tools-based social networking platform, (free to applicants), Admit.me, combining application management, a social network, and a virtual admissions coaching marketplace.

With regard to revenue model, applicants pay for dedicated, targeted application help with quick turnaround from alumni experts (marketplace and premium); colleges/vendors pay for access to robust applicant data (lead generation) and marketing.

The platform is built and beta has been launched. We currently have $500K in run-rate revenue and several thousand users. We are excited and well positioned to change the college admissions landscape!
