CATEC (Advanced Center for Aerospace Technologies) is a research centre located in south Spain. We focusses effort in performing research and development, focussing (but not been restricted to) industry and aerospace technologies. CATEC has currently over 70 researchers between engineers and PhDs, and is involved in more than 60 R&D projects under different programs (H2020, CleanSky, Erasmus+, Interreg between others). The main technological research lines are (i) Materials and Processes (additive manufacturing of metallic and plastic materials, and non-destructive inspection), (ii) Unmanned Aerial Systems (aerial monitoring, manipulation and contact inspection) and (iii) Automation and Robotics (AI, collaborative robotics, smart monitoring, IoT systems and advanced robotic end-effectors)....
