AIC-SNU Venture Challenge 2.0

Atal Incubation Centre (AIC), set up at Shiv Nadar University with the support of Atal Innovation Mission NITI Aayog, serves the motive of being an active catalyst for the propagation of the spirit of entrepreneurship amongst the youth in India. It is a step to assist budding entrepreneurs in their start up journey and to support the developing start up eco system in India.
Currently, AIC has incubated 13 start-ups under the incubation program. AIC, as business incubator, and provides a unique combination of office space, business services, coaching & mentoring, funding and access to networks to the incubated startups.

Atal Innovation Mission and NITI Aayog

The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) is a flagship initiative set up by the NITI Aayog to promote innovation and entrepreneurship across the country, based on a detailed study and deliberations on innovation and entrepreneurial needs of India in the years ahead.
AIM is also envisaged as an umbrella innovation organisation that would play an instrumental role in alignment of innovation policies between central, state and sectoral innovation schemes incentivising the establishment and promotion of an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship at various levels.

The National Institution for Transforming India, also called NITI Aayog, was formed via a resolution of the Union Cabinet on January 1, 2015. NITI Aayog is the premier policy ‘Think Tank’ of the Government of India, providing both directional and policy inputs. While designing strategic and long term policies and programmes for the Government of India, NITI Aayog also provides relevant technical advice to the Centre and States.

Venture Challenge 2.0

The Venture Challenge 2.0 is the flagship event of the Venture Summit, inviting emerging and seed-stage startups to present their initiatives and the ideas behind them, to compete for incubation under the Atal Incubation Centre.
The shortlisted applicants will be invited to present their startups on the campus of Shiv Nadar University, in front of our esteemed panel of judges, consisting of Venture Capitalists and experienced Business leaders, as well as network with other startups.

Finally, all participating teams will be invited to our E-Summit, to be held at India Habitat Centre on the 9th of March 2019, where the incubated teams will present an elevator pitch on their startups, before our Chief Guests and other esteemed speakers.
