Airbus BizLab partners with GIZ Make-IT in Africa, pan-African incubator MEST Africa, and innovation consultancy Innocircle to implement the #Africa4Future Aerospace Challenge 2018/19.

The goal of this Challenge is to find and connect growing African aerospace startups with intrapreneurs at Airbus who will work with the startups to speed up innovation and scale their product/service in Africa. Applications are open from 30 October 2018 to 30 November 2018.

We are seeking early-stage startups from all 54 African countries who are actively working on solutions related to unmanned logistics, UAVs, and remote sensing including Automation and Drones, Electrification, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Data analytics, Material composites & Manufacturing. The Airbus Aerospace Challenge Meetup, Lagos will answer questions regarding the #Africa4Future Challenge and feature a fireside chat with established startup founders who work in the African aerospace sector.

Guest speakers include Confidence Odionye, Founder of Beatdrone, Emmanuel Ezenwere, Founder of Arone Delivery and Diekoye Oyeyinka, Business Development Associate at Zipline International Inc.
The goal is to share knowledge about the impact of aerospace technology on sectors like Agriculture, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Electrification, what it takes to build a successful aerospace startup in Africa, and what to expect when dealing with big corporates and government while working in this sector.
