Alba Project (AP) was born as a spin-off of the local research group of Database and Information Systems in 2003. Its main goal has been to take to the market systems developed at the University. It has experience with local mobility Quality of Service (QoS) management, because the team has supported the Apulia Region in drafting the model of the Local Mobility’s Service Quality Chart, with the aim of reducing the gap between the delivered and perceived quality. The team has also piloted the app system for analyzing delivered quality using data gathered from service providers. AP has also several experience in IT supporting regulations, compliance and planning. It has developed, implemented and commercialized SLACOM (Service Level Aware Contract Management), a framework for analyzing, modelling and improving service contracts in order to enforce them, aligned with customer expectations and related regulation starting from data.
