My earlier professional interests laid on the optimization of microbial fuel cells to harness electricity while treating wastewater. I became the first Spanish student to get a Ph.D on bioelectrochemical technologies and this work received a Young Water Professional award by the International Water Association. Advancing in my career, I further picked up expertises on modelling and life cycle assessment, embracing design thinking tools for the development of sustainable engineering projects. With a
clear passion for scientific dissemination and the training of young talents, I have been involved in 6 projects funded by public and private institutions. Before joining Kora Agrilab, I moved to the private sector, where I held the position of health and safety manager for a SME dedicated to the development of nutraceuticals for human consumption.
