Now the dentist can better analyze bite problems and show them to a patient in 3D. There are two product lines in development.
Phi-Bite: The initial FDA Class I device focuses on the digital bite registration and jaw motion tracking, providing a quicker path to revenue generation. This is an in-office application with no indications for the treatment of specific disorders. It is meant to compete with current jaw tracking systems discussed in the competitor section.
Phi-Bite Pro: A Class II device with the intended use of improving sleep apnea treatment. It is even more exciting, as it allows sleep doctors to visualize where the jaw is positioned during a sleep study, correlated to other physiologic measurements and the ability to save the best jaw position of the digital CAD/CAM models.
The problem of an incomplete digital workflow is resolved with the elimination of impressions, which streamlines treatment. Analysis of sleep study data with proprietary algorithms provides dentists with artificial intelligence to help choose the best bite treatment position, decreasing the amount of time compared to traditional trial and error methods. AnatoMotion advancements culminate in an increase in the quality of care for all dentistry.

08-06-2017 I have been aware of the development of this technology for several years. The importance of this for dentists is the ease with which a dentist will be able to determine precise positions for sleep appliances. The way appliances are done now is only in the ball park and then through adjustments and sleep studies to determine if the position is ideal.
