5. To encourage bilateral cooperation on wood trade in wood derivatives and non-wood forest products (NWFPs);
6. To integrate the wood trade, and its derivatives in the negotiations and integrated dialogue Africa/Asia;
7. To promote the participation of the private sector in the value chain approach, job creation and improvement of the living conditions of local communities;
8. To support Niger to identify appropriate traceability mechanisms and forest certification adapted to the sub-regional context;
