A unique and global ID for each pet does't exist. There are only 2 ways to ID pets: the subcutaneous chip and the veterinarian medical record. The chip can only be read by veterinarians in a limited region, with a professional scanner and contains only basic information about the pet and its owner. The veterinarian medical record is just paper, it can be lost and it only records some medical information. These creates an obstacle to population control, health, and lost and abandoned pets identification. Ending these problems with technology also allows us to obtain all the information that brands and professionals need to be able to connect with their clients....
