IE’s passion for entrepreneurship has materialized in our global ecosystem for startups. Within the IE Community, entrepreneurs are at the core. More than 1,500 students annually receive training in Entrepreneurial Management at IE Business School by both professors with PhDs from top international business schools and entrepreneurs with extensive experience in the creation of start-ups. The Venture Lab, has its culmination in the Venture Day, a biannual event during which the five most promising projects are presented to investors with the mission of opening the doors to the relationships that might eventually lead to successful funding. Venture Days are held bi-annually in Madrid as well as internationally.

IE continues to support entrepreneurial students beyond graduation in the Incubator in Area 31. Area 31 leverages the obsession of IE Business School for entrepreneurship, its expertise supporting entrepreneurs and the community of successful entrepreneurs and investors gravitating around IE to create the most exciting incubating environment for start ups.If you’re interested in applying to the Incubator in Area 31. Overall, startups in our Incubator have access to $150,000 worth of services together with the incredible experience of launching their startup from this world class school.

Though IE is strongly committed towards supporting our students and alumni in developing entrepreneurial projects to the next level, the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center’s activities go beyond the classroom and directed to all agents who interact on a day to day basis within our economic reality. Projects like IE Venture Network, the recurrent event to pitch, share and network every week; or the South Summit, renowned event for entrepreneurs and international investors in Latin America and Southern Europe
