Arrive.by is a South Australian company that provides vehicle routing, scheduling, time/distance matrices and optimisation services via an API, which is extremely accurate and fast (sub 1 second).

All of these companies have the need to be able to schedule their deliveries and route their drivers in an effective manner and the software provided by Arrive.by does that.

Bespoke vehicle profiles can be created to reflect the real world make up of vehicle fleets. Arrive.by supports car, motorbike, scooter, truck, bicycle and walking as modes of transport in addition to a suite of on-demand optimisation algorithms. Scheduling constraints include capapcity, specific driver, must deliver within “x” minutes, maximum jobs per driver etc.

Our main goal is to build a suite of tools that incorporates a predictive arrival capability, which can then be used to power a range of other applications.

We're working on:
• Increasing processing throughput using GPU and distributed processing
• Predictive arrivals
• Alerts to let final customer know when to leave where they are to get to delivery/service location
• Resource optimisation algorithms
• Real time and historical traffic data integration
• Self learning delay engine to increase accuracy
• Various scheduling constraints in addition to previously mentioned ones

We're also investigating implementing scheduling for drones/UAVs based on predefined flight plans...

The API is fast and returns a very small response payload for scheduling and timing information (in the order of a few kB) making it ideal for mobile or remote applications to utilise. It is possible to deploy a small cut down version onto a mobile device with periodic update of the underlying maps.
