Consumers, can use the "collect" (or favorite) button to follow an artist, and be directly informed of new exhibitions, or news regarding their favorite artists. Museums and Galleries can access the posts by consumers on social media, and compile qualitative and quantitative information about the public's reactions to an artist and their work. Consumers are also able to dive down into more detailed information about the art, connecting to reviews and articles, art historical references, videos, radio interviews and podcasts, and other media. The app can also support different types of curated information to consumers, like a gps guided tour around Denver, showing them all of the locations where great street art, graffiti, and murals are located. The App can also be utilized as a selling platform for artists, galleries and museums, where they can sell original works, prints, or merchandise. The app naturally lends itself to the field of education technology, and will have functionality that could expand and enhance the effectiveness of arts education, by provide a comprehensive source for relevant information.
