ARTLAB INVESTMENT FORUM 2018

Your startup operates in the cultural and creative industries? You are looking for strategic partners and financial resources to fully deploy your growth potential? The 2018 ArtLab Investment Forum (Milano on 24-25 May) offers you the opportunity to present your business to a distinguished international panel of investors made of business angels, specialised VC and Italian foundations and to meet a diverse range of Italian and European companies, cultural organizations and stakeholders.

How will it work?

12 selected startups will present their products or services in 5 min business pitches to investment funds, business angels, and venture capitalists followed by a Q&A and feedback round.

After the pitching session entrepreneurs meet these financiers in individual appointments.

When and where?
The pitch will take place in Milan on May 25th, at BASE Milano.

In order to ensure an effective performance, the 12 startups will benefit from an adhoc online training provided by Media Deals, between End of March and Mid May.

A final round of test pitches will be held on site, on May 24th, the day before the investment forum.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for creative and cultural startups, meeting the following criteria:
active in the cultural and creative sectors as a legal entity,
commercial offer or prototype in place,
with at least some test clients,
with a clear management team,
promoting a scalable product/service,
based in a EU country.

Pre-money valuation (under 2 million Euro) is appreciated.

Who will you meet?
Italian and international investors focusing on seed capital investment – 200K€ to 1M€–, Business Angels and early stage Venture Capitalists will be selected for their interest in tech driven cultural and creative industries.

ArtLab Investment Forum is an event on invitation.

Invited startups will receive a link to register and upload their material on www.f6s.com until March 15th. The application form must include:
A company profile
A draft of your pitch deck

The call will detail the conditions for participation.

Maximum 12 startups will be selected by an international jury composed of Damiano Aliprandi and Simona Martini (Fitzcarraldo Foundation), Bart Ashmann (Clicknl), Thierry Baujard and Juliane Schulze (Media Deals), Bernd Fesel (ECBN), Caroline Norbury (Creative England). Selected startups will be notified by the end of March.
