Autto provides a Software-as-a-Service toolkit to enable law firms, legal departments and regulated organisations to build, publish and operate automated workflows.
Autto provides a set of digital 'building blocks’ - automated forms, conditions, content pages, e-mails, documents and so on. Our easy to use interface allows a non-technical person to configure each of the building blocks and link them in different combinations to build a bespoke workflow. The workflow can be published to a secure web URL to be consumed by clients or colleagues. We are increasing the different types of ‘building blocks' we offer - both by developing our own and by integrating with other software providers. Autto has been described as 'Wordpress for Workflow Automation’.

Clients, whether internal or external, are used to dealing with regulated processes digitally. They do so in their everyday lives - banking, insurance and managing investments. Yet so often when dealing with legal services they are dealt with on the phone or via e-mail in an outdated manner. Autto allows businesses to engage with their clients digitally.
Automation offers clear opportunities for efficiencies. The Mckinsey Global Institute estimates that 24% of lawyers work and 76% of paralegals work could be automated with current technology. This offers enormous opportunities for lower costs, higher margins and greater access to legal services.
Historically workflow automation software has been focussed on automating a small number of large and lengthy processes. This is not well suited to legal and professional services where the intervention of humans is regularly required and there are few entirely standardised processes. Autto is focussed on the automation of large numbers of short processes and parts of processes. We call this micro-automation. The Autto toolkit makes it quick, easy and cost-effective to automate a process whether for a specific project or ongoing operations.
Our product is entirely cloud-based and priced on the basis of the number of processes and actions (e.g. production of a document) that the product undertakes, with entry-level pricing of £250 pcm. It provides an easy way for law firms to engage with automation, better suited to the law firm business model than the traditional enterprise software license model.
Autto is featured in the National Law Journal’s 2018 AI leaders list, shortlisted for the LegalGeek Startup Awards in 2018 and many other publications.
