We are looking for cleantech startups in 4 countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovakia.

These ambitious startups will receive a 3-stage business acceleration programme and up to 10 000€ non-equity funding to get these critical solutions off the ground faster! One of the end goals is also finding further investments.

In each country, eight startups will join the program. Startups can join different stages depending on their current development: funding for Stage #1 is 4000€, Stage #2-3 - 10 000€.

This programme is supported by EIT Climate-KIC, the biggest network of cleantech and sustainability companies and institutions inside the EU, funded by EIT and Horizon Europe. Further details on eligibility:
- Team with minimum 2 founders;
- Company isn’t older than 5 years;
- Founders have >75% equity of their company;
- Startup must be incorporated, or plan to incorporate in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Slovakia;
- Scalable solution;
- Potential high climate impact or significant climate adaptation;
- Looking for one of the first investments;
- Full commitment to the program.

Previous Accelerator participants are able to apply again, but only entering the next stage — i.e. if they previously participated in Stage #1, will automatically be eligible only for Stage #2-3.

Other important points:
- Core value proposition can be based on digital as well as non-digital solutions.
Proof of Concept (POC) exists (ideally) with a proven need for the solution, main pain points mapped, feedback/ validations already received from potential customers, a tested prototype/ MVP created and a roadmap designed.
- The programme is open not only to classical cleantech ventures based on regular for-profit legal structures, but also open to non-profits or hybrid legal structures.
- The team/startup should be committed to participating in the programme activities.
- The team/startup is expected to work in an English-speaking environment.
