*Vision:* Baro One aims to increase the flow/usage of second-hand goods for both B2B and B2C customers. By facilitating the flow of goods between sellers, buyers, and borrowers/renters, we can reduce the costs incurred by customers and make better use of goods that are already in circulation. Our business model contributes to the circular economy, a relatively new academic focus that aims to eliminate waste (keep materials in circulation, instead of our current linear economy). The secondhand market is expected to double in size over the next 5 years.

*Problem:* There are more than enough goods in circulation (think: power drills, tables, chairs, speakers, stoves) to serve the needs of businesses and individual consumers, but the access to these goods and convenience of the transaction is far below that of buying new goods. As a result, consumers pay extra for the convenience of buying new, and secondhand items end up losing value and being underutilized.

*Target:* We have two target customers. First, our marketplace provides a place where small business owners can buy and sell used goods and equipment. This differentiates from other marketplaces in that the audience is purely small B2B and we provide logistical services, such as help with shipping. The second target is individuals/consumers (primarily in urban settings) that are completing tasks or adventures on their own. We rent secondhand goods by the day, so that they can pay for usage at a more affordable rate and do not need to store goods long term.

*Solution**:* Create a marketplace and auxiliary services that facilitate the buying and selling experience and create convenience for businesses. This creates the potential for revenue for sellers that would otherwise not have a buyer, and provides cost savings to buyers versus buying new. Meanwhile, consumers can enjoy the ability to rent items when they need them that are otherwise cost-prohibitive or space-prohibitive to buy. It is crucial that these experiences be focused on convenience.

*Benefit:*
1 - Businesses can more easily sell their used goods and equipment (they know where to find buyers).
2 - Businesses can more easily buy used goods and equipment at a reduced cost to the alternative (buying new or surfing Craigslist).
3 - Consumers can enjoy the use of cheaper goods and equipment that they previously did not have the option to rent, and instead had to buy.
