BEAUTYCHEMISTRY is a mobile app that is like Tinder for skincare, matching users with the perfect skincare products for them. While typically when shopping for cosmetics we get recommendations from our friends or research product ratings online, BEAUTYCHEMISTRY takes a much more precise approach. Using our mobile application, users simply swipe left or right, Tinder-style, to leave quick reviews of products they've tried in the past. Our algorithm then goes to work identifying common threads, at a chemical level, among the ingredient profiles of the products reviewed. The app then generations intelligent recommendations, directing the user toward or away from products containing ingredients that have caused a positive or negative reaction in the past.
