I am a Swedish Professor of Plant Biochemistry with strong contacts to Agriculture/ Food Industry. I have been director of the European Science Foundation, Brussels and President of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. I have contributed to food research in Singapore and is now an advisor to its Government for Food R&D . I am also working with Food R&D in Israel, and as having several connections to Swedish R&D.
One of my prime roles today is to be an advisor to Biofood Systems, a company deeply rooted in Food Technology and Manufacturing, The company has recently developed processes for alternative meat production using uniqe vegetarian material. BS has a unique combination of traditional food technology and novel approaches for alternative meat production. This in combination with their impressive international network makes them a unique player in this emerging field.
There is no doubt that BS will become a major player for alternative meat production in the years to come.
