Black and Latino Tech Initiative

The Black and Latino Tech Initiative is a capacity building 'pre-accelerator' that lays the framework for early-stage companies to develop skills and relationships that attract capital.

We're looking for:
1. Black and Latino Founders – where at least one team member of color holds equity within the company
2. A Product – something tangible with some form of market validation (i.e. users, pilots, clients...the more the better)
3. In Various Tech Sectors – including Marketplaces, B2B, B2C, IoT, etc. We are not looking for 'tech-enabled' companies
4. Coachable – a group of talented individuals committed to the success of the project while open to critical feedback from our program

During our 4 month pre-accelerator, you will:
1. Go through our custom DIAGNOSTICS – where your company will undergo a one-on-one session to determine the viability of their business model
2. Access to our network of MENTORS – featuring a general curriculum filled with speakers, mentors and influencers held in NYC and Newark, NJ
3. Customized ACTION PLAN – based on the diagnostics and curriculum sessions, each company will receive a coach based on their company needs
4. An opportunity to CONNECT – where our program will make the connection between you and our partners, featuring accelerators and potential investors

Each team who receives external funding will also receiving matching funds up to a certain amount with no expectation we'll take equity.
