I'm proud of what we accomplished at Neopost together with my team (2011-2013 period). I was heading the product marketing for the main line of products (hardware helping companies to deal with their mail).
As paper mail structurally declined and as behaviors changed, we needed to do something with the core business. We built a completely new vision for the company's offer: instead of selling hardware, we would provide our customers with an access to an online platform of services. Some of them would still involve the hardware, some would be completely online, providing additional revenue.
I started with a ppt mock-up I designed myself to convey the vision of the product. Then we came up with new specs for products. Then we gathered R&D, IT and distribution around the table. Then we built business models (pay per use, subscriptions) completely new to this traditional industry. We initiated the digital transformation inside this €1B company !
Ouilov is the kind of project that could make a real difference in the charity world. It is aimed to be easy to use with a friendly look, to encourage everyone to give more than just a like on facebook. If every "facebook liker" become a "ouilover", charities will get better and everyone will have the feeling of beeing empowered to change the world in a better way ! I totally trust the founder team to drive this project with their heart and expertise.
Too many sollicitations, too many projects that deserve attention? Finally a way to express your micro commitment with an actual concrete token of appreciation. Great work by Brice! The implications for social networks is also impressive, as a business model.
Excellent idea, it fills a gap from current tipping solutions. This easy to use add-on could give a solution to various situations where you want to concretely and easily express your liking or give your backing to a "micro-stream" (event, article, etc.). Its easyness to use could make it viral.
I think Ouilov solves a real problem by removing frictions for some small money transaction. It could actually enable a significant number of interactions/transactions that dont happen today, both in the digital and physical worlds. Would be extrelemy cool to make it happen.
LOV is gold. Using the LOV feature is a great opportunity for organizations, not only to engage with their community but also to get great data. As a marketer I would really like to get the data from people who gave a LOV to me and so being able to conduct a nurturing program and further engage with these key prospects.
I very much enjoy recommending OuiLov. I ve had the chance to work with Brice Amram at the earliest stages of his venture and realized how promising his project was. My organization La Fabrique Spinoza/The Spinoza Factory benefited from it by being the first beta-tester. The test was convincing. I do believe in the concept, the team and the engagement. I wish them luck in their venture. They diserve it. They will fit in greatly at the Numa. Alexandre Jost, firstname.lastname@example.org 0672172044, founder
I lov the idea! Il m'arrive constamment d'aller sur des sites où le processus de don est trop fastidieux - e.g. sites d'information ou de programmation - si c'était aussi simple que de donner une pièce, ça changerait tout!
A very good and clever idea, supported by a team of seasoned managers, fully in line with the current trend of CtoC economy. Everything is in place to create a very successful company. As a professional of the Tech industry, I strongly recommend Ouilov .
