Bullionix is a NFT minting platform that is introducing a new way for digital items to have value. It’s the world’s first dapp where users create NFTs (ERC-721) by staking other ERC20 tokens to them. This unlocks the possibility for a new generation of value-backed digital items.
Until now, NFT collectibles’ value has been mostly based either on a community’s demand or its use in a game. Bullionix NFTs allow for those too but also offer a value base layer that is easily determined according to how many ERC20 tokens are staked to a particular NFT.
Bullionix’s ERC20 of choice is Digix’s gold token where 1 gram of gold equals 1 DGX. Each Bullionix NFT is backed by a certain amoung of DGX. Some NFTs are weighted at 1 gram while others may be 5, 10, or even more. If at any time a Bullionix owner wants to withdraw the staked DGX, they simply push the “melt” button in the Bullionix display case and their DGX are returned while the NFT is forever destroyed.

Bullionix is a collaborative platform. What others may call users are better considered as goldsmiths. Bullionix publishes beautiful 3D designs that are waiting to be minted into NFTs by goldsmiths. There are four easy steps to creating Bullionix collectibles:
1.Go to the shop and find the designer mould that speaks to you.
2.Click “Purchase and Mint” then approve Metamask to stake your DGX.
3.Once the DGX staking is complete the NFT is minted and deposited to the goldsmith’s wallet.
4.The goldsmith now owns the resulting collectible to display, share, or sell on secondary markets like OpenSea.

Arguably just as innovative as their ERC20-staking smart contracts, we have spent a lot of energy thinking about how to get a more enjoyable experience of owning NFTs.

The Display Case is a key feature designed for intuitive viewing. Owners can interact by zooming in, flipping over, and rotating their hi-res 3D collectibles. Their are also some Game Boy inspired buttons along the bottom to make it easy to view on Etherscan, sell on secondary NFT markets, or even melt down.

I am looking to launch our alpha version on March 30 this year with a select series of limited editions designed in collaboration with some of the most popular crypto artists and Ethereum projects.
