We have developed a simple web based tool for students to experience & learn business, in a collaborative, practical & fun way. It is a flexible, google style tool providing the framework to build a business from Idea to Launch in 5 Steps (Ideas, Customers, Products, Sales, Bank). Students and teams can create, test & launch their business ideas into reality. Students and teachers can also create as many projects as they wish, share polls, surveys, ask Q&A, post project updates and track their team’s activity (timeline) so as to encourage collaboration, experimentation and planning in a safe way.

As a project based learning tool, Cashtivity was developed in consultation with teachers to support an educational setting including student businesses, market days, graduation fundraisers, and the like. Any type of product, service or retail business can be supported.

As a tool for entrepreneurship, students can use Cashtivity to create & share projects at home and with friends, identifying and testing ideas (business or social) and financial opportunities.

We are working on product extensions including: publishing (students can publish & share a portfolio from their projects, including promotional page of their products) and ecommerce (this will provide a safe way for kids to launch online businesses). We are also setting up a digital Campus to promote and share teaching & resources, including lesson plans and mini-challenges.
