Health insurers could use this data to expand their offerings/services and tailor the portfolio of interventions to companies.

Health coaches and instructors (3) conducted health interventions with employees. Regular health tests take place in order to be able to create a health plan, improve the health of the employees with targeted interventions, and evaluate effectiveness. The instructor could examine test results, assign health points to employees for participating in interventions, and evaluate the change in employee health bundled via the chameleon platform.

The company's employees (4) also benefited from the system by collecting health points for each completed health intervention. Therefore, gamification and rewards encouraged employees to change their behavior and health in a positive way. They could view their current health level, scheduled interventions, and activate rewards on the Chameleon app. The accumulated health points could be used for a wide variety of rewards from internal programs or partner companies, e.g., discounts (sports stores, gyms, etc.) or vouchers (healthy food in the company cafeteria, ergonomic desk chair, more vacation days). As the remaining availability of rewards was communicated transparently to all employees, competition for remaining rewards was created serving as additional motivation.
