CharcoalEats FoodTech Pvt. Ltd. (the “Company”) is a tech-enabled, Indian Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) venture. It was incorporated as Charcoal Biryani Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. in April 2015 with the objective of delivering high quality, consistent, and modern authentic Indian flavours to its consumers.

The QSR business was initially restricted to food delivery, with the Company’s primary offerings focused on “full meals” (Biryani, Pizza etc.) under its two brands – “Charcoal Biryani” and “Chilli Flakes”.

In order to access a larger consumer base, the Company expanded its product offering to include food options across snack and meal times, and across price points. Further, in order to improve visibility and to increase the number of customer touch-points, the Company decided to create a dine-in presence.

In order to better represent the all-day dining menu and concept, the Company has transitioned its brand to “Charcoal Eats” from “Charcoal Biryani” and “Chilli Flakes”.
