Cheeky Fest

Cheeky is a global community which helps people through the arts via an online network and virtual & real events including Cheeky Fest. The first Cheeky Fest will happen in London in 2021, with future Fest experiences in other cities around the world.

Launching in London in 2020, Cheeky Fest is an expansion of the Cheeky Promo Community which I set up in 2013 to help musicians. You can find, follow, join Cheeky Promo in our Facebook group, Flickr group, Instagram, LinkedIn (group & page), Medium, Mixcloud, Pinterest, Soundcloud, Spotify, Tumblr, Twitter & YouTube.

Cheeky Fest helps & connects people through art, dance, fashion, film, installation, music, opera, performance, photography, poetry, theatre and video. Conventional definitions and rules within the creative & performing arts are tested and challenged through multiple approaches to arts practices.

Cheeky Fest is a collaborative community to encourage inspire and help grow creative talent. We want it to thrive and be a place for collaboration, encouragement, and inspiration to help people. Cheeky Fest is not just about promoting your own work it is about helping others, finding like minded people and setting up collaboration. For Cheeky Fest to thrive we need involved members who want to help the community grow by Sharing your own ideas & experience, and Commenting on & supporting other people’s posts in a positive and constructive way. '

Cheeky Fest is for humans - including those who are artists, creatives, entrepreneurs, performers, aren’t earning enough money through their passion to support themselves (& their families) so have a Day J.O.B, are Unemployed & claiming Universal Credit and/or other benefits, have had / continue to have mental and/or physical health challenges, are still finding how they coexist with the rest of society, don't have a great work history, haven’t had the opportunities to develop or apply the skills & passion they have.

Cheeky Fest is beautiful, bold, bright, collaborative, colourful, creative, daring, dramatic, dynamic, educational, empowering, encouraging, engaging, enthralling, ear/eye opening, exciting, expressive, inspiring, international, invigorating, joyous, participatory, public, progressive, reflective, social, thought-provoking.
