Visual sprang out of an interactive 3D experience for physical spaces called Futurekave.
Futurekave is a collaborative planet sculpting experience based on physical gesture and interaction. Players stand in front of a projection wall and appear as an avatar, floating above a smooth planet. As the player moves their arms, a Kinect senses the movement and sculpts into the planet or raises the terrain up into mountains, depending on the gesture.
Futurekave senses if players bump into each other, amping up the social fun. When players bump into each other, magic crystals appear in the collision and float away. The combination of interactions really gets people moving! We like to call it "old school social."
We can also bring live tweets into Futurekave and display them in 3D space, or even trigger 3D events in the game based upon hashtags.
Futurekave is built in Unity video game engine & was designed for physical spaces. We built a VR client as an experiment and it blew our minds!
Well let me start by stating these creatives are exactly that, creative. I've been coined the godfather of Minnesota's creative class and they are the real dream makers, the ones that see things differently. They're goofy genius and humble. I co-own an arts building in the arts district of Minneapolis where this fun bunch dwelled for awhile. They work in the future with respect for the past. I was and am inspired by their creativity.
You know the feeling you get when you watch top athletes compete? The feeling of, "Yeah, I'm seeing some magic here." VidTiger is the top of their field. Most creative folks on the planet. Get in on the magic.
