Circle Optics' technology fuses the images at the level of the lenses, rendering a perfect 360° image instantaneously. Through our customer discovery, we found that the primary obstacle to the capture 360° imagery is parallax, a type of distortion from using multiple cameras with overlapping fields of view. To date, this has been addressed through a laborious, time-consuming, and expensive post-production process known as stitching.

Our technology captures 360° content in a way that no other camera can. We have figured out how to design lens systems with a polygonal field of view. All other 360° camera rigs use cameras with circular fields of view that either overlap or align at one point and have blind spots everywhere else. We correct the optical paths of light so that they match the frustum edges in polyhedral geometries. By doing this, the fields of view from each lens system perfectly carve out unique sections of 4pi steradian space and align seamlessly one next to the other,...

All other 360° camera rigs use cameras with circular fields of view that either overlap or align at one point and have blind spots everywhere else. We correct the optical paths of light so that they match the frustum edges in polyhedral geometries. By doing this, the fields of view from each lens system perfectly carve out unique sections of 4pi steradian space and align seamlessly one next to the other, to form a continuous 360° field of view with no overlap and no blind spots. To summarize, our proprietary lens system allows us to produce a superior quality image and does not require stitching or other post-processing.

In addition to numerous commercial markets, these capabilities are of special interest to the intelligence and surveillance community as they require the highest-fidelity image in the least amount of time.

Circle has very innovative technology that is at the forefront of computer vision systems. Their platforms solve very challenging problems in multi-sensor image stitching with a unique solution embedded in the optical design, which results in robust and fast processing of the data. Moreover, Circle has an excellent team that is a pleasure to work with.

I have been working as a collaborator with and consultant for Circle Optics for the past three months. I have been very pleased with the professionalism, dedication, and technical excellence of their work. I have introduced them to several potential customers and teaming partners and all of them have been impressed and thanked me for the introduction to Circle Optics. I believe that they will be tremendously successful with their unique camera technology.

I began working with the Circle Optics a year ago as part of the New York State Luminate Accelerator program. I am impressed with the Circle management team and their 360-camera technology. As their CEO, Zak Niazi exhibits vision, passion, integrity, accountability and the ability to listen and be thoughtful.
Circle has assembled an impressive technology team with excellent credentials encompassing several disciplines including optical engineering. I am impressed with the teams work ethic. commitment to the goals and ability to work together. They demonstrate excellent discipline in the development of the Circle technology.
I believe that Circle has the potential to not only revolutionize the 360-cinema market, but also disrupt several other markets including VR and 360 live streaming.
I am excited to work with them as an advisor.

I have been working with Circle Optics for a few months as one of their coaches. I am excited about their product and the underlying value proposition. I believe that their product will make a significant difference in the adoption and use of 360 degree imaging. I am also very impressed with the team finding them to be capable, energetic, and coachable. They seek feedback on many levels, from many sources, and use that (sometimes conflicting) information to plot the path forward. I'm pleased to be working with them.
