We are developing a web-based platform that aims at matchmaking demand and supply in terms of medical supplies in the context of the COVID19 emergency.
The prototype of our product can be seen here : devpost.com/software/co-sol. It was developed during an online hackathon backed by the Swiss Confederation and ETH Zürich (https://www.codevscovid19.org).
We want to focus our efforts on emergency and relief marketplaces.
In the covid19 crisis, existing factories are modifying their assembly lines to make new products that are desperately needed now, local communities and individuals are using their 3D printers or sewing machines to participate in the effort, lesser known suppliers need to be discovered, new companies are being created - all of these suppliers can register on our platform.

Our platform will list the most common needs and this list can be adapated dynamically.
The matchmaking process is based on ranking algorithm using scores such as price, distance, delay and other factors. Other algorithms are based on automated agent-based auctioning/bargaining (in development) based on criteria fixed by the negotiating entities.
We would like to include 3rd-party suppliers involved in the transportation and delivery of the goods and looking for partnerships in this area (such as La Poste, CFF and Uber in Switzerland).
