We have developed a predictive inpatient monitoring system called PreSAGE. PreSAGE utilizes thermography to obtain image-based information of the bed-side environment, By applying our proprietary image processing techniques and AI-trained models, co-developed by a team comprising data scientists, engineers and healthcare professionals. PreSAGE allows bed-exit prediction and prevention for high fall-risk patients, resulting in reduction of falls by 34% and manpower savings by 67%.

PreSAGE is based on 3 key advantages - privacy-preserved, continuous and non-contact monitoring. This enables the solution to operate uninterrupted on a 24/7 basis even if patient is undressed or clinicians are executing a clinical procedure. We are already developing other features based on the PreSAGE platform for temperature monitoring, respiratory rate measurement, rehabilitation assessment and prediction. PreSAGE is currently deployed in hospitals and nursing homes across Singapore and Thailand. PreSAGE is also trialed in public housing projects together with a Singapore government agency.
