About Creative Enterprise Hub Boo...
In an effort to support the capacity of creative organizations and communities in Malawi, Mozambique, and Zambia, the British council, in collaboration with BongoHive is implementing a unique two-phased support programme focused on hubs and organizations that support creative enterprises. The first phase of the programme will be a Hub Accelerator where selected hubs, guided by BongoHive will develop an inclusive toolkit to support creative enterprises in each country. The second phase of the programme will include in-country sessions where hubs deliver the training to their communities. This program is fully-funded and includes hubs participation in the 3-day program to be held in Lusaka, Zambia from the 25th to 27th November 2019 and support for hubs to implement training in their countries.
Hub/organization must be located in Malawi, Mozambique* or Zambia**
Have founders or managers that are aged 18 – 35 OR have a demonstrable focus on supporting creative enterprises and / or artists that are aged 18 – 35.
Have been operational for at least 12 months (desirable)
Have a physical space that brings artists and / or creative entrepreneurs together AND offers them at least two of training, networking, advisory or business support (like incubation or acceleration). Desirable
Be available to attend a workshop in Lusaka, Zambia from 25 to 27 November 2019
* Hubs in Mozambique must be able to deliver and participate in Portuguese and English
**Zambian hubs should be based in the Copperbelt
