Crodeon Technologies is a Belgian manufacturer of intelligent monitoring systems for industry, agriculture and research. Founded in 2015, we currently have an office in Ghent, the heart of the Flemish start-up ecosystem.

In the not so distant past, wireless remote monitoring was a complex endeavor. The hype around Internet of Things (IoT) is enormous, but actually getting real-time data from the real physical world into the cloud is something that a lot of companies still struggle with.

Crodeon offers a simple but reliable solution for remote monitoring, in the form of a hardware device and an online data platform. We handle the hard part: getting the data into the cloud. Our customers enjoy real-time information without worrying about sensors, connectivity or hosting.

Our current solution includes sensors for measuring temperature, humidity, rotation, pressure and distance.

As of today, we serve customers ranging from restaurants and farmers, to research institutions and industrial clients.

One of the products that we released in 2017 helps crop farmers with monitoring of their irrigation systems during spring and summer. This particular system uses different sensors to monitor rotation speed and water pressure on fixed as well as mobile irrigation machines.

We are continuously looking for ways to create value for customers through the internet of things. The goal of Crodeon is to allow companies and individuals that have no technical skills and an eternal lack of time to benefit from the huge advantages of IoT without wasting time during the setup or use of our products.

Our business model is two-fold: On the one hand we sell our hardware products for a retail price, and on the other hand our customers pay a yearly fee as long as they wish to continue using the product. This allows us, as an SME, to fund our business activities today while keeping our customers close for many years to come.

Because of increasingly automated manufacturing, higher quality standards, and lower lead times, Crodeon consistently opts for European suppliers for the production and assembly of its products.

Our distribution model follows the classic approach of historic technology companies. We sustain a network of almost 100 trusted distributors who sell and install our line of products.

Even though we often work with distributors, we find it important to keep in touch with the end customer. As a start-up / SME we cannot afford to offer a bad customer service.
