Cities need data on the condition of roads, electricity companies on the condition of their infrastructure, or land owners on locations of invasive species. These are just some of the use cases where data collection is expensive and slow. This problem has been verified by numerous talks with different customers willing to pay for solving it.

Crowdchupa has a map where virtual objects worth money are placed. They are collected by recording GPS-tagged video/images. For example a driver can mount a phone on the windshield and go pick objects located on roads. We pay users for each collected object. Our aim is to be a platform where customers themselves place objects when they need data.

We've reached our current customers via direct B2B/B2G sales:
Cities (7 cities)
Road Administrations (Estonian road administration)
Private infrastructure companies (PEAB Ltd.)

We sell through direct sales ourselves but also through partners.

In direct sales we make a cold call or get an introduction from our advisors. We prepare a pilot project with the client. We do a good job with the project and extend the pilot into a subscription.

Our partner Afry Ltd, the largest consultancy company in the Nordics, sells our service through their country offices in Europe. Crowdchupa was mentioned in their Q4 results call as a new innovation expected to bring significant new turnover.
