The platform applies artificial intelligence and modal logic to the challenge of delivering insight at scale. In summary, DataChemist:
- Infers a semantic model from existing data (from diverse sources)
- Automatically identifies any areas within data where real-world rules are broken (for example, “no company trustee can have served as a board member”)
- Shares complex data through intuitive interfaces across the organization

Perhaps most importantly, the platform is the first in the world to identify connections between individuals and entities across multiple degrees of separation.

This ability is vitally important in a number of industries. We are already helping commercial intelligence businesses identify when individuals are connected to each other through ownership chains that simple could not be exposed using any other approach.

As such, we are changing the world’s relationship with data.

Our core view is that you are defined by your connections. Relationships and networks are a better predictor of behaviour - and risk - than many data points about a single object, so if you understand and can analyse the network, you can really see the actor and predict their actions. We unify all enterprise data into a Knowledge Graph, which is basically a single large relationship focused network of your information (and any other outside data you might want to integrate), and then allow it to be traversed, queried and understood at scale.
