Dat Ventures
We help foreign startups break into the US market
Expanding into the US market is critical for international entrepreneurs to gain confidence in a mature innovation ecosystem and raise capital from investors. However, they usually lack the monetary resources, the know-how overseas, and the framework to make the jump.
Dat Ventures delivers a 3-month soft-landing accelerator program in Boston for international founders. The mission is to be the gateway for growth-stage startups to enter the United States, while helping generate an economic and cultural impact in their countries of origin.

Curriculum
Throughout the 3-month program, Dat Ventures' members are guided through a curriculum that covers key topics affecting their expansion to the US market. Guest speakers — generally serial entrepreneurs, investors and university professors — lead sessions following different formats: lectures, workshops, one-to-one mentorship, etc.
Venture Fellows
Dat Ventures partners with local educational institutions and startup communities to find talented interns, called Dat Ventures Fellows. These are categorized by skill and matched with Dat Ventures Members so they can become temporary employees. Dat Venture Fellows are a great resource for time-constrained founders that need additional manpower.
Dat Ventures Team
The Dat Ventures team works hands-on with members on a daily basis. On Mondays and Fridays, the team works with member companies to set goals and present deliverables. Throughout the week, Members can easily schedule meetings with Dat Ventures managers to follow up on projects, attend customer meetings, strategize next steps, or simply chat.
Service Providers
Dat Ventures collaborates with companies that wish to offer their services to members at a discount. Some of the most requested services include legal, accounting and tax, servers and cloud computing, and banking services. Service providers often deliver workshops on best practices for taking advantage of their service.
