As chairman and CEO of New Day Aluminum and DADA Holdings, David D'Addario draws on a history of growth within the metals and recycling industries. He previously held the same titles with Wise Metals Group, which he expanded into the third-largest producer of can stock in the global food and beverage industry. By the time he left Wise Metals, David D'Addario had driven more than 1 billion pounds of product sales annually.
Since joining New Day Aluminum, and in turn its subsidiary Noranda Bauxite and Alumina, David D'Addario has facilitated growth through the securement of multiple business partnerships. He has facilitated an agreement to sell bauxite and alumina from Noranda's Jamaica and Louisiana plants to London-based Concord Resources, which would then sell the material to third-party purchasers. In late 2017, Mr. D'Addario announced the acquisition of ARC Fused Alumina, a plant in the southeast region of France, by New Day's Dutch subsidiary.
