The Desai Accelerator is an intensive program of funding, mentorship, and resources to help early stage ventures scale and succeed. Startups are accepted in cohorts and the program culminates with a Demo Day, where each team will pitch to investors. The Desai Accelerator is a collaborative effort at the University of Michigan between the Zell Lurie Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies at the Ross School of Business and the Center for Entrepreneurship at the College of Engineering. While the accelerator is a University of Michigan supported program, it is open to anyone.

Our 13 week program includes mentorship and educational components designed to provide startups with critical resources to help them make rapid progress on product and customer development. Companies selected to participate in the program will have access to up to $50K SAFE investment, office space in downtown Ann Arbor, entrepreneurial student interns, and over $500K in resources like cloud credits and legal suppor...
