I've build the sole ERP of a 500+ Bulgarian company that covered their financials, various legally mandatory reports, payments, as well as their CRM part. I started out as developer and in about year and halt I was appointed to lead the project and a team of 7 developers.
I've build a Kanban like software board that's used by a lot of people instead of Jira. (A lot of people decide that they can do time / task management software better and do their own :), that's why there are so many on the market)
