By leveraging existing data and working closely with municipalities we are able to create an accurate model of on-street parking systems at any given moment, for any day throughout the year. Utilizing multiple data sources to develop predictive analysis software we are able to guide a driver to areas of high parking availability near their destination with over 96% accuracy. Every municipality has objectives that seek to implement low cost solutions that help reduce traffic and push flow off the arterial streets. For example, if the Seattle Department of Transportation has a goal of 75% utilization across the on-street parking system. Current data suggest the city of Seattle is currently missing over $21M in potential meter revenue due to inefficiencies in the on-street parking system. By adopting Discover Park municipalities improve their on-street parking system utilization potentially increasing the on-street revenue by millions of dollars each year.

Our software may also be integrated with popular apps and services already contracted with the city such as Car2Go and Pay by Phone. Our second phase of development creates a go-no go assistance feature that recognizes a users current location and time of day to interpret the current and near term parking regulations. This enhancement will help the user avoid pesky parking tickets or car share companies like Car2Go from having their vehicle towed. Integrating with the Pay by Phone app will enhance the users total experience of being in the urban area by removing the interaction points with anything on the street. When we guide a user to an area of available parking, we already know the meter number and location and can transfer the user over to Pay by Phone and populate the unique meter identifier for them.
