The client, after signing up to drJobbo, adds a job offer and tick all the boxes of skills and competences they are searching for. From the user perspective, candidates input skills and experience, parameters and respond to some questions such as "what are your 3 favourite emojis". The candidate can also use the platform to compile and download a pdf version of their CV. We later want to integrate skill-based mini-games, such as logic or analytic games to make candidate profiles stronger. They can ping recruiters but cannot directly apply to jobs. The point is to bring to candidates a range of jobs for which they already have an interview offer.

After selecting when and how to meet, “A meeting it is.”. DrJobbo reminds both parties the day before the meeting, sending details of the meeting, best wishes and following up with some feedback questions on the candidate/recruiter and drJobbo.

DrJobbo is founded on the desire to respond to the growing demand for labour based on a compatibility beyond CV elements and responds to the need of recruiters to make screening candidates faster and better. DrJobbo aims increase the likelihood that the candidates later employed result as an investment for the company rather than an employment expense. The platform also aims to eliminate recruitment biases. DrJobbo can be trained and then adapted to other similar concepts, for example compatibility calculation for restaurants and bars or tourist activities.

Dynamic, innovative and determined are the 3 most obvious adjectives which come to mind. A site where candiates display 100% of who they are including, but not limited, to academic achievements will enable employers to select individuals with the added edge to fit their needs. Throughout my banking and self employed career I have reviewed CVs, interviewed and employed individuals from across the globe. I often found that CVs tick the right boxes but do not tell me WHO the applicant is. In an increasingly global workplace I need to identify who has the tools I need as well as the ability to act and react in a job market which changes continually. Identifying candidates who match my needs will not only save time and money but will ensure I am concentrating my search in the relevant area while having the opportunity to change criteria, expanding/refining the number of candidates I am considering. Likewise, I may well find opportunities offered to me which otherwise I would not have seen.
