OUR SOLUTION

We assure you’ll never go thirsty.

Drop in - a water sharing program, supported by a mobile app, shows where and how to easily hydrate from our network of public fountains and cafes who welcome you in anytime to fill up with a free glass of filtered tap water.

Our newest features not only help you access water, but track and incentivize your consumption with rewards from our corporate advertisers.

Drop In creates an alternative to bottled water; just as Uber created an alternative to the taxi. By utilizing mobile marketing and existing resources (water), we direct people to a better product that would otherwise be blocked by store policy or a major awkward factor.

HOW WE MAKE MONEY

We’re gamifying the human need for hydration to create a massive new advertising opportunity.

Our model is very similar to RunKeeper’s. A company such as Saucony may prompt our user to “Drop In” 5 times in one week. If the user accomplishes this task, the user would receive a reward from Saucony such as an in-store discount or gift certificate.

Companies will pay us to join this advertising program to engage with the growing Health & Wellness market.

Presented in a dashboard, we will also collect and sell data to the advertising customer including Facebook login information such as age, gender, location, interests, and behavioral data from the Drop In app.

Lastly, we will monetize from advertising space at our business partner’s refill stations via LCD screen, or less expensive print advertisement.

Drop In is a unique company with the ability to solve the growing problem of hydrating on the go without the need to buy plastic water bottles that are expensive, unhealthy and degrading to the environment. The company has an attractive platform to drive the number of app users on one side of the equation, while at the same time as capitalizing on a range of revenue streams from advertisers looking to gain access to the lucrative health and environmentally conscious demographic. The company not only has those critical assets but the founders have proven grit and ingenuity; they are articulate and coachable and would add greatly to the next TechStars class. Matt and Joshua have come up with a very clever way to harness the power of the health and wellness advertising community and to deliver financial upside to their investors. They have experience in the drinking water field and know the players in the industry. Turn on the tap TechStars and say yes to Drop In!!

Drop In is righting a wrong that most of us contribute to every day by building a network of water refilling stations and educating users. I was skeptical until I saw schools, communities, and businesses contributing to the Drop In mission. Drop In has impacted my own behavior and has potential to influence millions of consumers and businesses every day.
