Our flagship application is a math fact trainer that gets kids rapidly solving arithmetic problems. So far, the eCarrot math trainer has been successful in boosting standardized test scores (Pearson Aimsweb) on tests of basic arithmetic proficiency, as well as more complex problem-solving. The 10+ percentile point improvements on complex problem-solving was an unexpected result; however, since the eCarrot system teaches children to manage their time better and make independent decisions it reduces a lot of the anxiety around classroom mathematics. Of course, connecting learning to cool games helps too.

We’ve run trials on about 2000 children in range of environments, and we’re working with researchers from Stanford, Vanderbilt, and Northwestern University to publish our findings in reputable scientific journals, and come out of quasi-stealth mode so the public at large can learn about us.

Crucially, we’re not just about mathematics – we’re building an ecosystem to accommodate a variety of academic topics. Content developers will be able to access our system via API. We can even include physical education (via Fitbit integration). This means that we’re looking to form strategic relationships with existing content providers who want to leverage the power and the science of the ‘learn-to-earn’ system. In doing so, we’ll gain access to existing customer bases, broadening our reach and obtaining the data we need to generate new insights.

eBravium is a transformational concept, designed to make kids use their smart device more responsibly. It's "learn to earn" or "move it" platforms permit the kids to earn time on their smart device - to play games, etc. - by either improving their academic skills, e.g. in math, or getting exercise. The parents decide how much time the child gains for each question answered, or exercise completed. The child is not just locked out from using their device for certain hours or time periods, by the parents, but is empowered to earn their smart device play time by either learning or getting exercise.
This is a great concept with clearly proven results in various classroom settings. Try it!
