PAIGE is a wearable assistant for dementia patients that allows them to roam around freely without requiring them to be accompanied by a caretaker at all times.
The device is an AI wristband that has simultaneously measures the user's vital signals to determine if they are doing well, listens to the user in case they would have any questions or worries and has an interactive screen that allows the user to directly request help or access basic information such as date and time. If anything wrong is sensed or reported, the device will automatically contact up to 3 'emergency contacts' that were saved on the device beforehand and direct the user to the nearest 'safe space' which might be a coffee shop, restaurant or other.
