Embrace Life Cell Technologies aims to provide umbilical cord blood banking services to expecting parents in Australia and later in Europe. We aim to do this with strategic partnerships with existing cell storage facilities. We also aim to partner with a major Australian charity. The Process comprises of:

- Collection of cord blood stem cells at birth
- Cryopreservation at below – 150° Celsius
- Long-term storage (up to 20 years) Release of stem cells when needed for medical treatment

Cord blood stem cells are the earliest (non-controversial) stem cells that can be extracted from a living human and have been used in more than 30,000 transplants worldwide. They are adult stem cells. We have no association with embryonic stem cells.

Stem cell technology has been known about for some time, however, the resulting treatments and commercial opportunities have been slow to arrive. Our goal is to be at the forefront of this emerging technology. More money is required for further research so that more stem cell treatments can be commercialised. We aim to contribute money with our association with an Australian charity.

Stem cells are undifferentiated cells, which means they have the ability to become any cell in the body: e.g. nerve cells, blood cells, skin cells. They are able to replace degenerated or cancerous cells with perfect new cells and heal a variety of serious diseases with 80 approved treatments and more clinical trials each day and therefore become an invaluable “repair-kit of the future” – even for treatments that are not developed yet.
