As a Techstars alumni (Class 64), I would be honored for Bruce Marable and Employee Cycle to carry on the great legacy of the program. Based on all the valuable mentorship and community building opportunities I was awarded from the program, I strongly believe Bruce and his team make a great company to invest the same resources. On a personal note, when I moved back to Philly and was struggling to get reconnected to the Philly startup ecosystem, Bruce was invaluable in making the necessary connections to get me plugged back into the founder and investment network. I hope you strongly consider Employee Cycle for this cohort, and look forward to seeing them join the program.
I recommend Employee Cycle for your accelerator without reservation. I've been watching their exciting growth for some time now as the former Executive Director of Philly Startup Leaders. I had the pleasure of interacting with their great team as a portfolio company in our accelerator program, and we were always impressed with their idea, traction, and focus on making the workforce better.
Since their participation in the program, Bruce has not only participated as a speaker in later cohorts, but has also mentored multiple startups in the program. I look forward to them being part of your accelerator and adding tons of value to your community as they did for ours.
I introduced myself to Bruce several years ago after hearing him give a talk about people analytics. His mission to help bring HR into the 21st century by making data more accessible was really refreshing and interesting. Since then, I've seen EmployeeCycle grow from an idea, to a beta, to the platform it is today.
I had the pleasure of being one of the very first beta customers in 2017. I was relying on a rudimentary dashboard I had built using Excel in order to see trends, and to help leadership make decisions based on data. It worked, but it required a lot of manual work to keep it updated. EmployeeCycle was a game changer. The tool gave me all the insights I was getting from my spreadsheet (and then some), plus it gave me back a few hours of time each month.
Bruce and Silas are both wonderful to work with; curious, innovative, adaptable, and humble. They're solving a real problem in the HR industry by making data accessible to everyone (no math skills required).
Bronze Valley’s portfolio company, Employee Cycle, has positioned itself to solve the problems related to the disorganization of Human Resources data of small and medium-sized companies.
Founders Bruce Marable and Silas Saraiya bring significant expertise in the HR data industry to provide a simplified dashboard to companies struggling to obtain actionable insights on their workforce.
Personally, I am convinced these tenacious founders have the willingness to continue to learn and adapt to see their product make a resounding impact on the way companies utilize data to make HR decisions confidently.
Employee Cycle has an innovative leadership team with Bruce and Silas. Their vision and product execution address a real problem for HR leaders by bringing critical decision making information into a comprehensive HR management dashboard that pulls relevant data from their customers underlying systems and organizes it in an efficient and easy to understand and support both operational and strategic decision making.
I am an investor and have been on their advisory board for 18 months.
I have been a member of the Employee Cycle Advisory board for two years. In that time, I have seen the team work hard to take an idea from conception to actualization. Through all of this, Bruce Marable has shown to be a fantastic sales leader who is able to learn a market and become viewed as a subject matter expert.
This team has not had a straight path, taking each hurdle in stride. I have been very impressed with the leadership's ability to listen to the market and pivot accordingly.
Over this past two years, I have seen this team create marketing traction, develop relationships with key subject matter experts and build a brand within the space. I feel with a few more resources and support, this team has the tools and capabilities to take this product to the next level.
